Once upon a time the news of the day — of the day we now call Christmas Day – that news – was not tradition or even mainstream. No, it was revolutionary . . . alternative.
It was more like the lone voice speaking up, speaking out in a world that needed to change.*
In that way it was a time like our own . . . a time in a world that needs to change . . . a time to make the moments count.
It would be good if change for the better had more sticking power but until that time comes, those who care about the betterment of families, friends, neighbors – we must speak up, speak out about the things that need to change so that we all may have a better life in a better world.
Where would you start? What is the first thing you would change? For a better America – now? Can you make the moments count?
*Most people, tribes, religions have such moments in their history. It seems to be a repeating chapter in the human story.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

So that good men (and women) may triumph,
we’ll use this space to post news you may need to know
good news . . . bad news
and stuff you may just need to know . . .
You’ll find future mentions of good news or bad news on this page.
The first entry
— out of respect for those who died in service to the rest of us –
It is certainly bad news, maybe some good news . . . definitely something we all need to hear about.
We bring you the link to the investigative report about Benghazi.
It is serious, long and in 6 parts but well worth knowing.

And so the senate weights in.
They can’t take care of 1,300,000 Americans who lost their unemployment benefits.
But they can bring us some hindsight.

We urge you to come back and let us know what you think in the Comments on the Christmas Day Post.
